Let the games begin

Well I suppose I'll get things started. I'm Geoff and I went to SMFA in Boston. I write short stories, I write and record music, and of course I'm a designer and illustrator. My last GEF lesson was "Make Bark and Leaf Rubbings" for PreK-2, and I'm about to upload "Little Red Hen Grinds Wheat."

So anyway, that's that. If anyone's interested, you can check out my website by clicking here.

Okay, so who's next?

Geoff

  1. Hi Geoff!

Thanks for your post. I was wondering- what kind of music do you write? I love to sing- although my voice was a bit better when I was younger. (Those kinds of things happen I suppose) :)

  2. Yes, what kind indeed. Well, when pressed, I used to say that it was "Acoustic/Alternative," but lately I've been making a point of using more electric guitar. Still, for some reason I continue to think of it as Acoustic. Probably because all of the songs start out with an acoustic guitar in my bedroom. Anyway, you can listen for yourself at www.myspace.com/geoffreyhewercandee, though I have mixed feelings about this batch of songs. I must say, I can a soft spot for track 3, Rum and Coke.
